Our client is a global provider of electronic components, seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join their dynamic team. Reporting to IT Manager, this role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's network infrastructure.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Configure, maintain, setup and support data network equipment (IP Routing, switches, firewalls wireless controllers, VPN, security etc.)
- Design and implement network infrastructure
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any network related issues that arise
- Develop and maintain network documentation
- Ensure network security and compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with regional and other teams to identify and resolve incidents
- Perform 2nd and 3rd call duties support on a rostered basis
- Demonstrated high level attention to detail, including the ability to write and analyse detailed technical documentation.
The ideal candidate profile would be like:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering
- Experience in corporate environment with large scale network management is highly advantageous
- Demonstrated knowledge of Cisco, HPE , Palo Alto, Juniper, IoT or Operation Technology network
- Experience with network security, such as firewalls, VPNs, and VPN
- Demonstrated high level attention to detail, including the ability to write and analyse detailed technical documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and can work with regional stakeholders
- Fluent communication, both written and spoken, in Chinese and English
