Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute both regular and ad-hoc vulnerability scans on systems and applications to identify and prioritize potential vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain vulnerability management processes and procedures to ensure that vulnerabilities are identified, tracked, and remediated.
- Communicate vulnerability assessment results to relevant stakeholders, including IT teams and management.
- Maintain the vulnerability management tools, including troubleshooting and system update.
- Conduct quality inspection on vulnerability scan, monitor the scanners' performance and scanning progress to ensure that planned scanning tasks are completed according to schedule.
- Work closely with other members of the security team to implement effective vulnerability management strategies and tools.
- Manage vendor communication and performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in Cyber Security, and at least 2 years of experience in vulnerability management or a related field.
- At least one of the following qualifications: CISSP, CISM, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), GIAC Certified Vulnerability Assessor (GCVA) or other relevant certifications.
- Strong knowledge of vulnerability management tools.
- Experience with using vulnerability scanning tools in cloud environment.
- Familiarity with common vulnerabilities and exploits.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
