Our client is seeking a Data Scientist to join their expanding team based in HK office. They are looking for someone to analyse trading performance and behaviour, using advanced machine learning algorithm to build predictive models combined with statistical theory and modelling.
Responsibilities
- Develop algorithms and statistical predictive models to determine analytical approaches and modelling techniques for potential future outcomes
- Provide data modelling, mining, pattern analysis, visualization to help the company's workflow
- Build predictive models with advanced machine learning algorithms including regression, NLP, random forests, deep neural networks, mathematical optimization, ect
- Bring prototypes to production on Hadoop
- Perform analysis of structured and unstructured data to solve complex business problems
Requirements
- Degree in Statistics, Mathematics or related discipline
- 1+ years of hands-on work experience in leveraging vast amounts of data, statistical modelling, predictive analytics, machine learning with SQL, Python or R and working with any distributed computing tools (Map/Reduce, MySQL, Hive, Hadoop, ect)
