Our client is a global apparel group well renowned for their resources invested in IT function such that business operation could successfully leverage up-to-date advance technologies. They are now recruiting a Service Desk Team Lead to join the team. The ideal candidate would be someone who embraces regional coverage and enjoys providing mentorship for junior members. What the role will cover:

  • Manage service desk operation and streamline procedures
  • Define infrastructure standard and provide IT support
  • Act as 1st point of contact on users and technical requests
  • Take timely action on requests and ensure proper follow up is provided
  • Provide mentorship to junior team members on troubleshooting procedures
  • Assist in procurement process on software and hardware inventory
  • Create and maintain documentation
  • Review existing process and identify opportunity on process enhancement
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects

The ideal candidate:

  • Diploma holder or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant discipline
  • 5 years' experience providing IT and users support
  • Technicalyoficient with desktop environment, Active Directory, Citrix, hand-held devices, video conferencing tools and knowledge on basic server and network equipment is advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal skills and can work well with stakeholders from various seniority from different countries
  • Willing to provide mentorship for junior members
  • Fluent communication, both written and spoken, in English and Chinese
