Our Client, headquartered in Japan with network in more than 35 countries, is one of the leading financial institutions and a Restricted Licence Bank in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
- System and infrastructure management and monitoring
- Implementation of new infrastructures, hardware refreshment to align the industry standards
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
- Responsible to build and maintain the technical diagrams, documentation and associated system processes and procedures
- Contribute to business continuity and business recovery exercises, taking part in regular business continuity testing
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support
- Co-ordinate with external vendors on system inquiries and maintenance
- Follow security guidelines on server/network hardening
- Evaluate new products and technology
Requirements:
- Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft, UNIX /Linux based environments.
- Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, VCenter, Hyper-V, HCI)
- Microsoft Certified Engineer have an advantage
- Good command of English and Chinese with good interpersonal skill, telephone manner and service attitude
- Proficient in Windows Server, MS Desktop Applications, Active-Directory, DNS, DHCP, CA, MS O365, VMware, backup system, problem diagnosis tools, remote support tools, deployment and patching tools, ticketing system
