Responsibilities
- Responsible for one of the key projects in Enterprise Technology with the main responsibility to coordinate with stakeholders to identify and analyze the existing application, translating the business requirement and accomplish the functional requirements.
- Agreed with the business owner on the roadmap and project deliverable
- Application gap analysis on current applications and future solution sets
- Coordinate with users to agree options to mitigate application gaps
- Work with the vendor to ensure the business requirements are translated accurately into functional requirements
- Assist in identify uses case and help co-ordinate the UAT testing with business stakeholders.
- Experience in Workflow Applications, SharePoint and Cloud related solution would be an advantage.
- Assist the Project Manager to manage the day-to-day operation and be able the drive the project from start to end.
- Monitoring and reporting on project progress, and make recommendations for improvement
- Review high-level deliverables.
- Application of change control procedures
- Stakeholders management from various level and business domain.
- Obtain timely agreement from key stakeholders
Candidate Specifications
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related subjects
- Around 8 years BA/project management experience in information technology
- Proficiency in SQL programming & SSIS package creation
- Current knowledge of information technology industry and better practices
- Proven capability to work across all phases of project from start up through implementation to final commissioning or hand over to business as usual
- Proven ability to work with vendors
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, knowing when and with whom to communicate.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to listen to team members, and build and lead teams
- Understanding and empathy of working in multicultural work environments
- Commercial acumen
- Proven ability to structure and align, and discipline to complete work independently
- Detail oriented and be proactive
- Able to work independently and take strong responsibility on the project.
- Good understanding in project management methodologies and adapting methodology to organizational and program needs
- Demonstrable understanding of risk management practices in IT
- Good understanding of service delivery and production support processes, methodologies and tools
- Experience in financial services and insurance companies will be preferable
