Our client is a reputed multinational organization. Due with their team expansion, they are actively hiring an experienced application specialist with previous project exposures gained in public sector.
The ideal candidate should possess with good product knowledge in Microsoft VB.net and MSSQL. He or she should have good communication skills in dealing with user enquiries and handle troubleshooting cases.
He or she should be currently working as a programmer in various IT service provider.
Technical Specialist (VB.net)
Key duties:
- Interact with users to collect the system upgrade & enhancement requirements.
- Carry out a feasibility study and impact analysis for new requirements.
- Review the existing program specifications and assist in document updates.
- Estimate the effort and delivery timeline.
- Perform system and program development and enhancements.
Key requirements:
- Minimum 3 years working experience in using Microsoft products
- VB.net and MSSQL product exposures is a must
- Demonstration of good communication and presentation skills is preferred
- Knowledge of Visual Basic (6.0), DEV Express for Visual Studio, SQL Server Reporting Service is a plus
