Job Description:
- Work Closely with Traders on Design, Development, Optimization and Enhancement of Trading Algorithms in Rapid Pace of Development for QT Fund Quant Trading Business. Expand the Current Algorithms to Multiple Markets.
- Enhance the Existing Risk Monitoring Systems and Back Testing Platforms by leveraging new technologies and concepts to drive the efficiency of the system.
- Understand the Needs of the Business and constantly work with core technology and support teams, to come up with new ideas in driving the innovation of resources and to deliver creative solutions for business.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate should have basic understanding and some technical knowledge of front office trading systems. The candidate is expected to comprehend our core trading infrastructure and how each input / output flows within the system fairly quickly. The person shall be given a project to code / automate certain tasks and execute with the necessary testing completed.
- The ideal candidate is expected to work in a fast-faced environment, organized, efficient and with matured work attitude. The person shall be a team player with good communication skills.
- The candidate will be provided with on-the-job training but also is expected to be self-motivated in looking at opportunities to improve.
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors/ Master's degree in Computer Science from a reputed institution with strong academic record
- Experience in developing real time, robust trading applications. Strong hands on experience in Any Object-Oriented Programming language preferably C#.
- Detailed data structures knowledge on: Hash tables, heaps, trees, lists, queues, etc. is mandatory and good understanding of multi-threading concepts is required.
- Experience with Statistical Package like , Python, MATLAB or R.
