Key Responsibilities
- Support requirement gathering sessions and document clear, traceable business needs from various stakeholders.
- Provide expert input on claims workflows, assessment logic, and general operational practices.
- Identify and highlight potential gaps, risks, or inconsistencies from a regulatory and operational perspective.
- Prepare essential project documentation, including business requirement documents (BRDs), test cases, and UAT scenarios.
- Coordinate communication between claims teams, IT departments, and external vendors to clarify technical issues.
- Execute comprehensive test cases, log defects, and validate system outputs against expected business scenarios.
- Assist with implementation activities, including post-rollout validation, user training, and knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, IT, or a related academic discipline.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst or in a closely related analytical role
- Practical exposure to requirement gathering, formal documentation, or system testing.
- Experience in claims operations, assessment, or underwriting is preferred, ideally within Individual Life or Health insurance
- Basic understanding of the SDLC and UAT processes.
- Proficiency in coordination and communication, with the ability to manage tasks with high attention to detail.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence is preferred
