Inclusive Hiring in Action

Our commitment to inclusion extends beyond intention into action

RGF Connect Program is one of the ways we put inclusive and fair recruitment into practice. Through this program, we promote inclusive and fair recruitment by creating access to job opportunities for individuals facing barriers to employment, guided by our belief that potential exists across all backgrounds when given the right opportunities.

How we take action

How we take action

Officially endorsed by Reconciliation Australia, we developed our Reconciliation Action Plan under our parent company, RGF Staffing APEJ, and alongside our sister companies (ahs hospitality, Aurion, Chandler Macleod, and Vivir Healthcare). Our Action Plan is our first step to embedding organisational respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians. At Peoplebank we aim to build and sustain trusting relationships within Indigenous communities, laying the foundation for delivering real and lasting opportunities for economic participation and independence.

In partnership with Monash University, Peoplebank proudly sponsor two women facing socio-economic challenges. The purpose of our Peoplebank Australia scholarships is to help address the gender imbalance in IT jobs, whilst also assisting someone who may not have otherwise been able to afford to study.

After a rigorous audit of our workplace practices for women, Peoplebank was WORK180 endorsed in 2023. A WORK180 endorsement is not just "a trusted sign of a great place to work for women", but a commitment to improving our workplace standards for women

Peoplebank approached Pride Pledge in 2022 to show our commitment to the safety, visibility, and inclusion of the LGBTQ+ community within our workforce and the wider community. By joining Pride Pledge we also benefit from Rainbow Training Sessions which our employees can attend to improve their understanding of LGBTQIA + people and the rainbow communities to which they belong. Peoplebank also commits to taking an annual stocktake via the Pride Pledge tool to assess and benchmark our progress in creating rainbow visibility, support, and inclusions.

Our employees mental health, safety and wellbeing is our priority, that is why we ensure all our Managers complete mental health and first aid training. Providing mental health literacy, support skills and early-intervention training provides our people with the knowledge and confidence to recognise, connect and respond to someone experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis.

ReciteMe Toolbar

The integration of our ReciteMe toolbar means our website is more accessible to the neurodiverse, the visually impaired, and those who speak English as a second language. This cloud-based assistive toolbar makes our website more inclusive by offering the functionality of a screen reader, translation services, and styling features. As an employment services provider, we see it as our responsibility to make the jobs we advertise as accessible as possible to anyone who would be interested in applying.
