A leading bank is looking for a Business Analyst drives end-to-end business analysis for digital investment initiatives, translating business goals into clear, prioritized, and testable requirements that increase digital conversion and sales via platforms. This role collaborates closely with product owners and cross-functional teams, ensuring high-quality user stories, robust testing, and effective sprint execution across the delivery squad.
Responsibilities
- Prepares business requirements for digital investment product deliveries, ensuring clarity, completeness, and alignment to business outcomes like conversion and sales.
- Translates business objectives into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria through workshops, interviews, and journey reviews.
- Maintains strong traceability from business objectives and requirements to delivery scope, test coverage, and release outcomes.
- Partners with the Digital Product Owner to manage the product backlog, including prioritization support and story grooming.
- Supports sprint execution by clarifying requirements, managing scope questions, and ensuring alignment across delivery disciplines.
- Ensures digital deliverables meet stakeholder expectations by supporting in-sprint validation, user acceptance testing planning, and live testing.
- Coordinates defect triage and prioritization with quality assurance and engineering teams during testing phases.
- Acts as a key translator between business and technology teams to ensure complex investment concepts are implemented correctly.
- Holds a university degree, with preferred qualifications in technology, finance, ecommerce, or related fields.
- At least 2 or more years of experience in investment product management, project management, or digital business analysis.
- Brings strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail to navigate digital product dynamics.
- Demonstrates a track record of delivering online sales or digital platform initiatives, preferably within banking or financial services.
- Communicates effectively in English and Chinese, with Putonghua preferred, to bridge the gap between technical and business teams.
- Understands user-centered design and agile delivery methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
- Shows hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence for daily delivery management and documentation.
- Benefits from preferred experience with digital investment journeys, analytics tools like Looker, and digital performance metrics.
