Responsibilities
- Owns the preparation of business requirements for digital investment product deliveries, ensuring clarity, completeness, and alignment to business outcomes.
- Elicits requirements through workshops, stakeholder interviews, journey reviews, and data insights to translate them into epics, features, and user stories.
- Partners with the Digital Product Owner to shape and manage the product backlog, including prioritization support, story grooming, and sprint readiness.
- Leads backlog refinement sessions and ensures stories meet the definition of ready and are sized appropriately for sprint planning.
- Defines the user acceptance testing approach, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria while coordinating defect triage with quality assurance and engineering.
- Facilitates collaboration across user interface, engineering, solution architecture, and business stakeholders to deliver outcomes efficiently.
- Leads and mentors junior digital business analysts by providing day-to-day guidance, reviewing user stories, and uplifting team capability.
- Establishes and maintains business analysis best practices, including templates, story standards, documentation hygiene, and ways of working.
- Possesses 5 or more years of experience in investment product management, project management, or digital business analysis.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail to navigate complex business dynamics.
- Holds a university degree, preferably with relevant qualifications in technology, finance, ecommerce, or related disciplines.
- Shows proven delivery of online sales or digital platform initiatives, with banking or financial services exposure strongly preferred.
- Exhibits strong communication skills in English and Chinese, with Putonghua preferred, to explain complex topics to varied audiences.
- Displays a solid understanding of user-centered design and agile delivery methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
- Utilizes hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence for delivery management and documentation.
- Brings preferred experience using analytics and design tools like Looker and Figma, alongside familiarity with experimentation and funnel optimization.
