Job Nature: Provides implementation services for new IT systems and on-going support for existing computer systems of the Department.
Job Description:
- Provides implementation services for new IT systems (i.e. develops computer programs, conducts SA&D, prepares program specifications, conducts system and user acceptance tests, prepares documentation, etc.);
- Provides on-going support for existing IT systems; and
- Performs any tasks assigned by supervisors.
Requirement Details:
- Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent;
- Must have 3 years' or above hands-on experience in web application with 1 year experience as Analyst Programmer
- Strong experience in web application programming (i.e. common Java application servers, Spring Framework, J2EE, etc.) is preferred;
- Required to provide service outside office hours. e.g. 7/24 on-call production support;
- Required to travel to other branches and land boundary control points for system support may be required;
- Good command in both written and verbal communication: Cantonese and English, Mandarin (optional)
