Project Nature:
To provide the system support services
Duties:
(a) To provide system support services including both backend and frontend of the System;
(b) To perform problem identification, analysis and resolution;
(c) To perform system administration and database administration tasks;
(d) To perform disaster recovery drill regularly;
(e) To facilitate internal and external auditors to perform audit on the System and implement improvement measures to enhance system security;
(f) To directly communicate with users, technical teams and other contractors of the Government on issues related to the System;
(g) To provide all other necessary services and support for the smooth operation of the System;
(h) To perform any other tasks related to the System as instructed by the supervisor / Government Representative; and
(i) To perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor / Government Representative.
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or above
- Minimum 10 years of system support experience
- At least 6 years of experience supporting computer-aided dispatch systems (incident handling and policy deployment)
- Minimum 5 years of 24x7 on-call support experience for IT systems
- Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese
Remark:
- Candidate is required to be on stand-by for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (24 x 7)
- Required to perform remedial maintenance tasks when requested by the Government anytime.
- When necessary,Candidate's shall be required to arrive at the Service Locations to rectify all faults or provide workaround solutions to sustain the normal operation of the System within 2 hours upon receipt of the phone call.
