Our client is one of Asia’s largest banks by assets, repeatedly awarded “World’s Best Bank” and “Safest Bank in Asia,” with strong credit ratings and a commitment to sustainability and gender equality. In addition, they are leaders in digital innovation, making banking tech-savvy and user-friendly. Currently, they are expanding, and looking for a (Senior) UX Research. This role will focus on the local business, with exposure working with regional UI/UX team.
The Role:
- Conduct user research using various methods, including but not limited to interviews, surveys, and usability testing, specifically focused on banking products and services
- Analyse qualitative and quantitative data to derive insights that inform the design of user-friendly banking applications and services
- Collaborate with UXUI designers, product managers in different cities to conduct research and understand their operational flows and customers’ needs to ensure localized user-centered design in compliance with industry regulations
- Develop user personas, journey maps, and experience prototypes tailored to banking customers
- Present research findings and actionable recommendations to stakeholders
Experience Needed:
- Bachelor's degree with at least 3-5 years of experience leading research studies: planning, recruiting, executing, and analysing.
- Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies such as usability tests, interviews, surveys, card sorting, tree testing, and know when these are best used.
- Working knowledge of collaboration, design, and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Figjam, Miro, etc.)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, both English and Cantonese, and facilitation skills, including educating the team about user research
- Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills are a must
