Our client is a global FCMG brand with a century long of business foundation. Reporting to the Head of Applications, this Business Applications Manager role will lead a team across Hong Kong and China to oversee applications related to production planning and the implementation of various ERP (such as SAP).
Responsibilities:
- Identify the business needs/processes and translate into requirement for system configuration/development
- Enhance and maintain the existing applications
- Oversee application implementation project
- Account for functional support such as managing stakeholder enquiries and maintaining data integrity
- Prepare business cases, conduct research and recommend innovative IT solutions to improve business process efficiency
- Prepare IT strategy for the responsible business areas
- Conduct system analysis and prepare functional / system specification to fulfill business need
- Manage development team to deliver application system as per functional/system design specification
- Define IT strategy and lead the production planning team to meet functional goal
Requirements:
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant discipline
- Minimum 10 years' IT experience in IT, especially in application implementation and maintenance, gained within manufacturing and production sector
- Proven track record in full cycle SAP implementation
- Experience working with SAP HANA is highly advantageous
- Experience in IT application system implementation and maintenance
- Able to translate business requirements into specification to streamline workflow
- Strong project and vendor management skills
- Fluent communication, both written and spoken, English and Chinese
