Responsibilities:
- Coordinate regular innovation meetings which is composed of related executive members and department heads, which serve as forums to for strategy alignment and acceleration of innovation initiatives
- Liaise with Business Groups' representatives and project managers to assist in implementation of digital solutions and other innovative technologies to support business strategy, opportunities, and needs
- Manage the innovation project portfolio of trial projects across the company to make sure timely project delivery and deployment according to the innovation project governance
- Keep vigilance to the new trends in energy industries. Special focus on medium to longer-term innovation opportunities and business models which is complementary to business unit Innovation team's shorter-term and immediate deployment opportunities
- Contribute in cross-business unit strategic studies by evaluating digital and innovation technology applications on how these could benefit internal operations commercially and technically or act as new service offerings, with well-substantiated recommendations to meet expectation of stakeholders
- Produce independently, management briefs and analysis on relevant topics and written reports and proposals on various study areas
Requirements:
- Recognized university degree in Engineering, Business Administration
- With 6 years or more of suitable exposure and experience in engineering, technology or innovation project management and business analysis
- Strong stakeholder engagement, leadership and excellent organization, team collaboration and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with multi-disciplined staff to delivery business objectives
- Good analytical and commercial skills, with ability to build high level economic models to support the business case of innovation and digital projects
- Solid experience in project management would be an advantage
- Good knowledge of company's goals and plans, ability to coordinate significant innovation and technology activities and deployment across the company
- Good presentation and communication skills, in particular the ability to reduce complex technical issue and concepts into simple and concise initiatives for further propagation & pursuing
- Good engagement skills in dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders including internal stakeholders, external business partners, scholars, technology & industry players, start-up communities
- Keen motivation for continuous learning and awareness in innovation and new technology trends applicable to energy industries, strong sense in identifying medium to longer-term innovation opportunities which is complementary to business unit innovation team's shorter-term and immediate deployment opportunities
- Fluency in Cantonese, written and spoken English. Fluency in Putonghua would be an advantage
