About our client
Our client is a well renowned UK retailer with regional headquarter located in Hong Kong. In order to deal with incoming APAC region expansion, they are currently looking for a POS system specialist to support their store opening.
About the role
- Supporting project of new-store opening, as well as existing store relocation/renovation
- Gathering, analyzing, and follow requests from APAC users
- Coordinating with vendors and internal IT team for store IT assets delivery (POS system)
- Managing in-store IT assets planning, transferring and implementation
- Managing the deployment of network systems and hardware for the store opening or relocation
- Installing and configuring appropriate software and functions according to specifications
- Reporting to overseas management on a regular basis
- Providing training to end-users in the back office and stores
- Performing other ad hoc duties
Requirements
- Bachelor degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
- At least 3 years of supporting or troubleshooting IT software or hardware in the retail industry, preferably to have retail store opening project experience
- Good communication to negotiate with different stakeholders
- Will to learn, self-motivated and can work in a dynamics environment
