Our client is a Public Sector in Hong Kong, they are looking for a Database Specialist with experience in Oracle/MS SQL Database for their project.
Responsibilities:
Conduct quality review and system tests on the technical products;
Carry out database design and administration;
Provide advice on the tuning of SQL;
Monitor system performance and perform necessary system tuning to ensure smooth operation of IT systems;
Ensure an effective and secure data exchange between internal and external systems, and the synchronization of land records among the systems;
Plan and conduct disaster recovery drill; and
Provide technical support and participate in the system capacity planning
Requirements:
At least 8 years of experience as a DBA in large environment
Experience as Oracle/MS SQL DBA - database management and architecture
Knowledge and experience in Database, AIX Unix/Linux/Windows, network, virtualization, Active Data-guard
Experience in working with large scale projects and databases highly advantageous
Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science or related discipline
Less experience will also consider as Database Specialist
