Technical Consultant (Wintel) - Contract

Our client is a MNC IT equipment and service provider and due to rapid expansion in their projects, they are seeking a Wintel Specialist to work onsite for one of their top tier financial services clients.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Wintel SME and focal point in the Programme and work closely with all the other streams and countries' project managers.
  • Design and develop the Wintel transition and transformation methodology.
  • Works with application developers and MIS supplier to troubleshoot migration issues.
  • May need to travel to different Business Units to assist in implementation.
  • Review and endorse the technical documentation and migration plan from MIS vendor.
  • Deliver weekly status reports, regular updates and documentations to Project Management Office.

Key requirements

  • Ability to adapt and understand the client's organization, culture and infrastructure deployment.
  • Solid experience in database technologies, including but not limited to Windows, VMWare.
  • Ability to communicate with MIS Suppliers, external and internal stakeholders.
