Job Description:
System analysis, development and nursing for enhancements of client's IT systems:
- Take lead role of an enhancement project to replace the Java Plug-in technology with up-to-date technology for IT systems
- Participate in system development lifecycle (SDLC) activities including but not limited to feasibility study, user requirement collection, system analysis & design, system implementation, system testing (unit test, integration test, UAT, etc.), data conversion, system migration and deployment;
- Monitor project schedule and quality of project deliverables
- Liaise with different parties (including users, vendors, computer operators) in user requirement collection, system development and problem investigation for IT systems
- Provide helpdesk and onsite IT support to end-users
- Provide technical advices for IT systems
- Assist in IT security risk assessment & audit
Mandatory Requirements:
- A recognized degree, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years' experience in Java application development of which must have 1 year similar capacity
- Hands-on experience in web-based application development with Java programming
- Good knowledge of Java Enterprise Edition, web programming, DB2 and HTML
- Exposure in government regulations and procedures
- Experience in project management
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Good communication skills and customer service skills
- Independent, self-motivated and good sense of responsibility
- Pleasant personality and good interpersonal skills
