Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the development team to utilize the resources in an effective way
- Manage the team resource to handle the system change request from business users
- Prioritize system change request according to user and management's priority
- Conduct review and identify opportunities for cost efficiency, productivity and service quality improvement, and formulate related project management plans
- Take ownership of specific initiatives from inception to implementation, solve complex problems and deliver financial results which contribute to the achievement of project assignments
- Synthesize process improvement initiatives at different stages into executive summaries/briefs/reports
- Monitor and guide subordinates to carry out assigned tasks and to help them to achieve their personal goal
- Report to Department Head of IDP2 and management regularly
- Ensure that all project deliverables are delivered that follow the bank's IT policies and procedures
- Report IT risk event, key risk indicators, incident, issue and suggest mitigating action in a timely manner;
- Implement IT control processes and measures to mitigate key risks;
- Implement internal control and measure to comply with IT policies and adhere to the risk management framework;
- Perform periodic evaluation on the cyber security controls having regard to emerging cyber threats and a credible benchmark of cyber security controls.
Requirements:
- University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
- More than 15 years of IT experience with at least 7 ears of management experience preferably in banking industry
- Solid experience in large scale project management and system implementation
- Excellent team management experience
- Experience in vendor management from tendering, contract negotiation to post-implementation and support.
- Solid experience in banking risk monitoring systems includes but not limited to AML, IRRBB, IFRS9 and credit control.
- Have the banking business knowledge, technical insight and leadership ability to recommend IT solutions to business unit as well as lead and motivate the subordinating teams to achieve project objectives effectively and efficiently
- Strong management skill with the ability to independently manage multiple project simultaneously
- Excellent prioritization, time management, coordination, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
- Knowledge in the latest Regtech is advantage
