Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier strategy
    • Support the development of Digital Sourcing Strategy and embed demand and supply processes to draw the most out of the company's technology procurement investment while complying with contract requirements.
    • Coordinate between IT & Digital related services and service providers; orchestrate multiple suppliers to minimise or mitigate potential multisourcing issues
    • Develop, Manage and strengthen the overall supplier relationship with strategic suppliers to ensure alignment with business and strategic priorities.
    • Evaluate and validate IT vendor performance through establishing metrics scorecards and conducting surveys to manage vendor service level agreements across different aspects
    • Derive and communicate supplier strategy and management framework including supplier classification, engagement, assessment and performance evaluation
    • Identify key market trends in vendor activities and performance; establish vendor selection criteria for digital team to evaluate and recommend potential new vendors
    • Proactively work with Contracts and Procurement Department on streamlining procurement processes
    • Manage the procurement demand for digital projects and operations to ensure smooth and cost effective project deployment and operation excellence
    • Create dashboards visualising KPIs to allow management to make data-driven decisions
  • Service and contract management
    • Act as CRO and lead the OA renewal process for contract under commercial team
    • Formulae, develop and maintain the service plan and service catalogue to fit for company's staff needs while IT investment is optimized from cost management perspective
    • Implement terms and conditions to ensure maximum benefit, contractual protection and risk minimization for purchase of different type of products and projects including hardware, software, agile projects, professional service, etc.


Essential Qualifications for this Role

  • University degree or above in Business, Law, Technology or Supply Chain Management. Master's degree is desirable.
  • Member of leading purchasing & supply management professional bodies is an advantage (e.g. MCIPS, MISM)


  • 6-8 years of utilities industry or IT and business work experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments
  • Extensive experience in reporting and reconciliation
  • Experience in managing multiple vendor relationships
