Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management for initiatives driving data governance adoption,
- implementing data pipeline and setting up data operations, from project initiation to closure,
- ensuring adherence to project scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Define project goals, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders, and
- create project plans, including tasks, resource allocation, and milestones.
- Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure
- project success and minimize disruptions.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and regularly report
- project status, milestones, and risks to steering committees, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data
- analysts, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements, define project deliverables, and
- ensure effective project execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Business
- Administration) is required.
- 5-10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on data management,
- operations and governance related fields.
- Proven experience in managing risks, budgets, resources, and project inter-dependencies.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to
- changing priorities.
- Project experience in successfully delivering data governance and data pipeline projects are
- highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) are highly desirable.
