Our client is a global industry leading media and advertisement group and they're now recruiting an Infrastructure Manager to join the team. Reporting to the Regional Head of IT and leading a team, the role will oversee daily infrastructure operation support and involve with projects management on upgrades and deployment.

The responsibilities will include but not limit to:

  • Report to Head of IT and manage a team to oversee daily IT operations to ensure stable infrastructure performance
  • Infrastructure scope includes but not limits to servers, network, storage, desktop, database and data center
  • Provide helpdesk/deskside support services to users and investigate on root causes on recurring issues
  • Design network infrastructure on LANs, WANs, security and wireless solutions
  • Establish IT policies and procedures on Infrastructure and Operations and create/maintain documentation
  • Collaborate with global IT team on implementation of global and local IT infrastructure projects
  • Work with external vendors to ensure provided services met with agreed standards and negotiate on costs
  • Manage the IT procurement process on IT hardware, software and services.
  • Participate IT audits and budgeting
  • Assist in projects on demand

The ideal candidate profile would be like:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in managing infrastructure operation with at least 2 years in a people management role
  • Well-rounded technical proficiency on infrastructure concepts such as Windows OS, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Windows server, network equipment (LAN/WAN/VPN/firewall), cloud (i.e. AWS/Azure, etc), virtualization, backup & storage, disaster recovery planning, security administration, data center & IT service management
  • Possession of professional IT certifications will be an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and can work with regional stakeholders
  • Fluent communication, both written and spoken, in Chinese and English
