Our client is an international school in Hong Kong that is currently seeking a Server & Network Administrator to join their team. Reporting to the IT Manager, this role will be responsible for managing and maintaining the network infrastructure, server systems, and external vendors, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain servers (Windows and Linux) and network
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls for server resources.
- Maintain IT inventory system.
- Conduct regular backups, implement disaster recovery plans, and ensure data integrity.
- Configure and manage mobile device management (iOS, macOS, or tvOS).
- Enrol new devices and create/manage device profiles, configurations, and policies for security and compliance.
- Manage and collaborate with external vendors for support, maintenance, and procurement.
- Assist in planning and implementing IT projects, such as server migrations or system upgrades.
- Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge base maintenance.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements:
- Diploma or above in Computer Science or related field.
- With 2 or more years of working experience in network support, system and server related.
- Experience in Fortigate firewall, Router, Juniper Switches, VMware, Hyper-V etc.
- Knowledge of Server administration (Window/ Linux),
- CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, VMWare holder will be an advantage.
- Less experience will also be considered.
- Administer Google Cloud services.
