Our client is a renowned conglomerate, known for its vast and diverse range of business operations.
They are looking for an IT Director to advance their technology strategy, ensure execution to align the group's vision and sustainable development.
Your expertise in IT governance and project management will be instrumental in ensuring alignment with group strategic objectives and optimizing project performance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive the digital transformation and development according to group vision by working closely with C-level and top management
- Oversee the management of the PMO for digital projects, ensuring adherence to project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.
- Responsible for IT procurement, effective resources planning, reporting and coordination of projects/initiatives for multiple business units
- Manage Group IT and business units IT budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
- Manage IT governance and compliance activities, ensuring adherence to industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, review, and implement IT policies, controls, standards, and procedures.
- Act as the key contact person with parent group in IT related areas
- Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in IT governance, project management, and digital transformation.
Requirements:
- Degree holder or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, Master or MBA is preferred
- Minimum 10 years of IT related experience with at least 5 years as IT Lead or similar role
- Profound and Hands-on experience in IT PMO leadership, portfolio performance metrics and reporting, and project financials in sizable companies
- Proven experience in IT budget and cost management
- Strong digital and technology concepts, trends and capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills in teamwork, stakeholder management; and sound presentation, communication and facilitation skills
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese
