Job Overview:
Senior IT Program Manager to lead technology initiatives and drive the successful execution of complex IT programs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale IT programs and projects within a financial institution.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain program and project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
- Identify and manage project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed
- Communicate program and project status, risks, issues, and progress to senior management and stakeholders
- Ensure that program and project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the required level of quality
- Manage project teams, including IT and business stakeholders and vendors
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with business partners and stakeholders to ensure alignment of IT initiatives with business goals
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the IT organization
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; master's degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience managing large-scale IT programs and projects within a financial institution
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques
- Experience managing complex technology initiatives, including system implementations, upgrades, and migrations
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
